School Newspaper Feature Story

This project was one of my first formal news-feature style pieces. This was from all the way back in 2017, but I love to refer back to this project because I believe it is a great representation of where my love for storytelling began. I vividly remember feeling so excited to go visit the site of where Mackenzie recorded her music, feel the story of her life, what it felt like to be a "pop star," perform an interview, and finally, tie it all into a story. This was the first time I can vividly recall being lit up by the opportunity to tell someone's story. :)
